Man offers drugs in return for his stolen car

An Argentinean man was arrested after offering drugs in return for his car. He hoped the car thiefs would bring his car back to get the drugs.

Car thief
Juan Carlos Centurion, whos car was stolen, put up signs in front of his house with his 'great' offer written on it. He also offered some cash as part of the deal.

Juan Carlos made one big mistake. He told his story to a local newspaper and after police read the story he was arrested for publicly offering drugs. He now faces up to six years in prison!

As an explanation for his advertising signs, Mr Centurion told the police his neighbours knew who had stolen his car and they also knew the thiefs did it to buy drugs.

Police chief Jose Maria Zanier said: "What he did is understandable, but no one can break the law like that."
